This position will be located at Jumers Casino & Hotel in Illinois

The President/ General Manager provides effective management by advising, recommending and assisting in the formulation of strategies to maintain a high level of profitability and guest service. Effectively manage all operational areas including gaming, food & beverage, and lodging. Maintain positive regulatory, community and guest relations.
Responsible for the effective and efficient management of the casino and all related operations, ensuring that effective financial, operational and human resource controls are in place. Define short and long term property goals and objectives. Develops and presents annual operating plan.
Responsible for setting appropriate staffing levels and managing and coordinating the daily activities of the management associates, including hiring, training, performance management and development.
Establish and maintain solid relationships with governmental, community and trade organizations to enhance business operations. Ensure compliance with all local and state regulatory agencies.
Establish and maintain a guest service culture throughout the facility focusing on a high and consistent level of guest service. Establish and maintain an issue free team environment for associates.
