Duties & Responsibilities:
Define and drive BMC solution strategy in the IT Operations Analytics market segment
Understand customer pain and top initiatives and translate to market problems and product strategy
Define product roadmap and ensure R&D teams deliver what is required to meet market needs
Lead small team of product managers and ensure they are motivated and skilled such that they can drive the definition, strategy, and success of BMC’s IT Operations Analytics business.
Scope of Responsibility/Job Impact :
Ownership of product roadmap and business success
Leadership and influence across the product management, field, and development orgs
Work closely with R&D, Product line and value chain leadership.

Qualifications

Other highly desirable attributes and experience includes:
Experience in new markets like Analytics, SaaS
Experience in working with multi-site teams
Passion for working across the R&D org and across the value chain
Experience with competitor offerings in IT operations analytics
Previous sales, marketing or business experience in IT Operations Management space.

Education/Training
BA / BS or Master’s Degree preferred

Experience

Travel 30% if in Santa Clara; Houston/Austin 40%+
