Shopbop is seeking a New Business Initiative Project Manager to join the Asia team. S/he is passionate data analysis, market segmentation, business strategy, customer acquisition, and driving measureable results in an online retail environment. Responsibilities:
Report to Head of Asia
Structure and execute operational and strategic initiatives by gather and synthesizing relevant data, leading analyses and presenting final recommendations that will drive expand and enhance business growth
Evaluate the performance of current business operations and recommend strategies and tactics to achieve business goals
Evaluate and review existing business partnerships and proposal new opportunities
Serve as a key business partner to work directly with marketing, operation, and BD teams to design and execute market initiatives
Successfully build relationship with finance, product, planning, and other stakeholders to develop budget/forecast and develop business case and receive approval
Conduct customers segmentation to further recognize consumer behavior and discover potentials growth areas, drive customer traffic, social engagement, new user acquisition, and business growth
Work effectively with cross functional teams to coordinate and enhance marketing efforts across channels
Conduct weekly and monthly deep dive business analysis report, share learning and insights with the entire team
A successful candidate will have:
Technical knowledge of cross channel web analytics, data driven decision making
Ability to design, communicate and present metrics effectively to propose and support strategic decisions
Ability to clearly communicate with teams across geographic regions and time zones
Ability to execute in the short term while simultaneously developing long-term strategy
Ability to handle multiple competing priorities in fast-paced environment
Strong attention to detail
An obsession with the customer experience
Basic Qualifications

Minimum of 5 years’ experience working directly on social media or digital marketing, data analytics, or relevant consulting roles.
BS/BA in a relevant field required, MBA preferred
Fluent in English and Mandarin
Preferred Qualifications

Well-versed in social media and digital technologies, constantly informed on industry development, consumer trends and new technologies
Both creative and data-driven mindset, understanding of social media analytic tools and how to apply findings
Ability to work with multi-disciplined teams
This position will prefer candidate has 5 years' experience in Ecommerce
This position will be located in New York City, but will be required to travel to Shopbop Shanghai and Madison offices.
