The Global Markets & Investment Strategy group is looking for a Vice President to join the team with the primary responsibility of owning and further developing a new internal distribution portal – the “Market Hub”. To accomplish this, the person will partner across the business to drive distribution of all markets and investment insights and amplify our messaging to internal and external audiences. The role will provide an opportunity to build strong partnerships and maximize the impact of our investment insights with clients by changing the way we consume, deliver and disseminate information.
This position can be based in New York or San Francisco.

Partner with Capital Markets and ETF Investment Strategy teams to establish and improve processes and procedures for disseminating content to sales
Drive the technology agenda with BlackRock’s Web Tools and Technology team by incorporating user feedback and making recommendations on opportunities to maximize sales impact and usage
Assume overall responsibility for the effectiveness of the new portal and oversee the content management by regularly reviewing publishing activities
Regularly seek feedback from primary user groups to ensure relevance and impact
Leverage proprietary and 3rd party analytics to evaluate user behavior and work with contributing teams to increase utility of their content
Qualifications:
5+ years of experience in a business management, in-house/management consulting, COO or project management role
Expertise in the asset management industry, investment strategy or capital markets is preferred
Demonstrable problem-solving, quantitative and analytical skills
Strong drive to 'crack the problem' with a deep intellectual curiosity and integrity, combined with a practical sense of how to cut to the core issues and analysis
Effective team player with strong ability to influence and work within the organization
Experience leading and managing project workstreams
Strong interpersonal and communication skills with ability to translate findings into articulate presentations (powerpoint)
Experience managing an online portal is a plus
