As a Doodle Team Creative Lead, you’ll manage and inspire a team of highly creative, designers, illustrators, and animators to keep finding new ways to surprise, delight, and inform Google’s hundreds of millions of users on the company’s most visible surfaces. Operating at the intersection of art and technology, this role will require deep collaborations with cross-functional team members in product management, engineering, marketing, and others to create world-class illustrations, animations, games, and more.

Qualifications
Minimum qualifications:
10 years of experience producing or directing creative work.
Preferred qualifications:
Experience with art direction and/or editorial creative work at a major online or print publication and a general knowledge of how design impacts engineering and vice versa, along with a knack for constructing dynamic designs that are technically practicable.
Demonstrated enthusiasm for creating in new media and technologies and ability to manage budgets and help define contracts and agreements and ability to thrive in a rapid paced environment on multiple projects.
Strong skills in one or more of the following: illustration, design, animation, interaction design with a body of work that exudes whimsy and wit and comfort with digital and traditional visual art media.
Ability to work collaboratively and apply creative feedback in a team environment.
The ability to manage ambiguity and work autonomously.
Demonstrated success leading a team and expert communication and interpersonal skills and deep network of outside artists and creatives for potential collaboration & recruitment.
