The Division Sales Director is responsible for supporting the Division Manager and Area Directors in sales, marketing, and other business development activities, using subject matter expertise to identify new market opportunities. The Division Sales Director is responsible for working with the Area Directors on the integration of sales processes, as well as assisting in other sales and marketing programs, including Division and National campaigns and Client Experience. In addition, they are responsible for managing the Division consumer credit pipeline, which includes Home Equity and Unsecured Credit products. This position may have one or more direct reports supporting Consumer Credit.

Position Responsibilities:
• The Division Sales Director spends 70% of the week in the field coaching Area Managers and Branch Managers on how to improve the sales and customer experience with their staff
• Partner with peers in other lines of business (Citigold, Small Business, Mortgage, Sales & Marketing) to deepen relationships with customers and optimize results
• Advise the Division Manager on the opportunities and challenges of the customer base for that division through using market intelligence and trends
• Develop relationships with other Sales Directors and circulate best practices from within and outside the Division.
• Digest vast communications across the Bank, sharing key messages and priorities with staff such as business strategy, customer offers, and marketing campaigns
• Establish and maintain key relationships and business contacts within the community and targeted industry segments to create opportunities for growth

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business (preferred) or equivalent.
• 5 to 10 years of sales or marketing experience. Management experience required
• Knowledge of financial industry products preferred
• Strong interpersonal skills. Ability to present information that demonstrates command of the information and ability to connect with their audience
• Strong sales management skills
• Demonstrated process and influence management skills and the ability to motivate teams
• Proven ability to facilitate coaching, training, and meeting sessions
• Ability to quickly learn technical financial information and concepts
• Proven ability to coach against sales campaigns and results
• Ability to function in a fast paced, high visibility position
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects concurrently
• Strong written and oral communication skills, with the ability to communicate with people from all aspects of the organization
• Strong analytical skills including financial interpretation and reporting
