Director Global Licensing Specialized Support Visa Foster City

To manage specialized operational programs related to the strategy, policies and ongoing management of Visa licenses and transactional numerics.
Manages programs which support licensing requirements and ongoing integrity of Visa data such as Visa Growth Agreement upgrades, Closures/Merger execution, secondary BID, and ownership change reviews.

Manages non-financial institution process globally interacting with market-based Licensing and business sponsors as well as cross-functional task force. Ensures timely completion of Business Continuum, provision of cross-functional business assessment, follow through in regards to license conditions, management of proposal pipeline, and global coordination of business results. Builds awareness of process and results through communications and reporting targeted to all relevant audiences including Executive management.
Manages communication channels for Licensing resources to ensure they are up to date, client-focused and effective including InSite and Visa Online.
Represents Client Licensing to planning and ongoing implementation of special initiatives such as Multinational Program, Multiantional Merchant Acquiring Program, International Acquiring Program, and others as assigned.
Leads direction from Licensing to develop meaningful, significant and productive set of priorities and business requirements for tools and systems, including VCIS, annual enhancements, and new developments. Includes coordinating UAV testing and feedback. Works in tandem with Operational, Business Solution and Process leads for new initiatives to ensure changes reflect team priorities and needs. Builds awareness of activities and assesses finished programs to identify opportunities for improvement.
Leads document storage and repository strategy in alignment with Visa Record Management Policy and Licensing record categories. Manages annual program to ensure that all records (physical and electronic) are properly classified and retained appropriately. Considers opportunities to improve process and understanding.
Supports Customer Support and Operational staff with Level 2 business scenarios and decisions including training on basic functions

Qualifications

Required Education: Bachelor’s Degree
Minimum 10 years professional experience

Highly preferred to have Visa operational experience
Working expertise in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Excel,PowerPoint and Access
Understanding and working expertise in Visa databases and workflow tools including VCIS, VCSA, VMM, etc.
Business - required
Proven professional level verbal and written communication skills
Ability to influence others and manage change across multiple channels
Demonstrated ability to take ownership of initiative with urgency,dedication and commitment
Comprehensive knowledge of Visa operations; preferred knowledge of Licensing and Numerics
Functional knowledge of VisaNet services
Strong operations, managerial and customer service experience
Experience working cross-culturally and in remote situations
