Based in Universal Studios, Los Angeles, the Digital Show Producer reports to the Senior Director of Production at NBC Entertainment Digital.

Essential Responsibilities:
The Digital Show Producer runs digital experiences for a number of NBC Entertainment’s scripted drama and comedy shows, as well as live reality shows and specials across web, mobile, apps and TV Everywhere. Through analysis of data, the Digital Show Producer maximizes the effectiveness and value of show sites and social campaigns to the Marketing and Social teams, to Ad Sales and to the show itself.
The Digital Show Producer mines and analyzes data, combines that analysis with new ideas, then curates and creates compelling new user experiences. They own the data and reporting of a show’s digital metrics to Marketing, Social, Ad Sales, shows and other customers.
By providing data-driven insights, the successful candidate works in concert with separate teams of content writers, designers, photo editors, video producers, and social experts in NBC Digital to execute defined editorial strategies. Further, the data analysis supplied by the Digital Show Producer helps guide and bring together the combined creative talents and expertise of these teams in the most effective and appealing manner.
The Digital Show Producer is the primary Digital point of contact for a show. They centralize communications, lead Show Team meetings, gather and distribute data and site production information both to and from team members, while encouraging collaboration, exploration and excellence across team members.
Qualifications/Requirements Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree
Minimum of 3 years experience managing online, digital, editorial, and app experiences, ideally for television shows.
Deep experience and expertise in web, mobile, video, TV and social platforms as well as experience in high traffic editorial.

Desired Characteristics Desired Characteristics:
Expert-level knowledge of content management tools like Drupal, Anvato MCP and The Platform MPX.
Understanding of HTML & CSS.
Working knowledge of Adobe Premiere, Apple Final Cut Pro X.
Strong command of spelling, grammar and self-editing.
Background analyzing data and trends in the digital TV space using Domo, Omniture, Google Analytics, and similar traffic reporting suites.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high visibility environment handling several ongoing tasks, sometimes with competing requirements.
A love of television: scripted, live, reality, latenight and daytime.
Extremely high standard of editorial quality control.
Strong writing skills, able to generate SEO-centric copy for promotions.
A great sense of design and Photoshop skills.
Multi-task oriented, strong organizational process & time management skills.
Thorough understanding of common web & interface conventions.
Knowledge of television landscape and current trends.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment handling several ongoing tasks
