The Director of Data Science will apply their knowledge of advanced analytics, data mining and statistical techniques to design and develop enterprise analytic solutions which are focused on specific Retention solutions across multiple verticals. The Director of Data Science will define best practices in the use of advanced analytics and therefore must possess the ability to understand and document business processes and influence process improvement.

We are looking for candidates who can be a part of this team and lead its growth. The key roles of the Director of Data Science are as follows:
* Responsible for setting up Retention Data Sciences – responsibility of driving pipeline and business development
* Drive visibility of Retention Data Sciences – capability within the organization & secure accentuated mindshare
* Engage with clients at the CXO level to drive the Data Science solution agenda
* Setup effective networking & relationships within the BU and with clients
* Curate Data science framework and methodology in alignment with BU specific strategic growth opportunities (SGO”s)
* Provide advanced technical consulting and advice to proposal efforts, solution design
* Provide consulting advice to customer senior leadership and sets strategic direction for customers
* Provide the technical direction required to resolve complex issues to ensure the on-time delivery of solutions that meet customer expectations. May need to develop new methods to apply to situations.
* Demonstrate ability to represent the whole organization within a customer sales presentation, conveying the benefits of working with the business. Ability to lead production of proposals, working across departments, for complex customer solutions.
* Ability to operate and present at all levels, and in public forums, to facilitate business discussions, and controls and leads those discussions
* Drive Industry leading thought leadership in the specific areas of Data Sciences* Build a strong Data Science team to support and deliver on the above objectives

Desired Skills and Experience
A PhD in Math, Computer Science, Information Systems, Machine Learning, Statistics, Econometrics, Applied Mathematics, Operations Research or related technical degree
15-25 years of experience in the area of delivering cutting edge Data Science solutions to clients
Experience of pitching to and working with CXO levels
In-depth Knowledge of data science concepts , techniques and domain
Have the experience of managing diverse set of clients
Managed setting up of business development pipeline and processes
Deep experience in languages like SAS/R/SPSS/Matlab/ Python or any other statistical/computational modeling tool
Demonstrates ability to develop and win new opportunities through application of consulting skills
Leadership qualities to connect with and influence CXO level decision makers
Author of multiple papers/patents. Should have presented in multiple conferences. Online presence through blogs, forums, social media, etc
