Job Description
Reports to: VP of MarketingKey Position Accountabilities
- Be responsible for the customer experience on GoPro’s webstore, ensuring that our customers’ interaction with our site, our brand, and our product offering is a positive one
- Oversee the planning process for the site, including homepage and landing pages, development and execution of promotional offers, management of seasonal campaigns, coordination of merchandise assortments and support of key branding campaigns and initiatives.
- Direct planning and execution of site marketing, planning and promotions including participation in all planning meetings, mapping out support of campaigns, overseeing creative brief process and coordination with merchandising for product in support of plan
- Monitor and react to daily sales and conversions within the online realm
- Utilizing web analytics to monitor overall homepage conversion, collection performance, promotional tracking, click-stream analysis, and other reporting needs as identified
- Utilizing web analytics to assess value of store real estate, track performance and establish expectations of click through and conversion
- Develop guidelines for maximizing webstore assets and work with merchandising and marketing teams on communicating objectives for key site real estate
- Act as key point of contact for Customer Service to help identify and address customer issues related to product data, promotional offers
- Identify opportunities for improving the customer experience and partner with appropriate functional areas to schedule and implement improvements
- Manage, professionally develop, and set clear, detailed goals for eCommerce team members
- Oversee and support the Web Merchandising, Online Marketing, Online Branding, and the Social Media teams
- Oversee introduction, set up, and online go to market strategy for new products using GoPro’s CMS while coordinating with merchandising and operations teams to ensure that products are set up in backend systems
- Direct changes to products including copy, image, messaging and pricing updates
- Creation of reports in support of homepage, features, and collections for distribution to web marketing, merchandising and marketing
- Analyze and report on competitive sites’ storefronts, marketing efforts and customer communications
Desired Skills & Experience
Qualifications- Have a minimum of 7-10 years relevant Web Marketing/eCommerce experience
- Proven successful track record with online technologies including web analytics, online shopping behavior, processes and goals, as well as customer relationship management
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business or related area
- Ability to develop a team with strong coaching/communication skills
- Results and deadline driven: must be willing to do whatever it takes and spend whatever time it takes to meet deadlines
