Sales Director Wireline RCIS Ericsson Plano

As a Sales Director focused on Wireline Service Providers, you will be responsible for securing short and long-term profitable business for Ericsson. You will be responsible for actively engaging internal resources to deliver efficient and effective end to end solutions allowing seamless transition from sales to operations. You will act with partners to develop both internal and external relations in order to actively commit to making customers and Ericsson successful.

Your primary responsibility is account management, business development, and partnership growth for areas such as Professional Services, Fiber and Wireless Access and other offerings in the Ericsson and partner portfolio.
You will take the lead in the orchestration of engagements for the customer, bringing the appropriate team of subject matter experts that will cultivate the overall solution from opportunity identification through to contract closure.
You will travel to customer locations and present Ericsson solutions in 1:1 and/or large customer meetings
You will participate with the VP & Resourcing team in developing business plans and new sales initiatives.
You will plan your efforts towards quarterly and annual revenue, orders and profitability targets as well as customer satisfaction indices.
You will build and maintain relationships on multiple levels with key decision makers in the organization as well as assigned markets.
You will quote hardware, software and related services in accordance with Ericsson business practices and product portfolio.
You will be responsible for forecasting future revenue & orders on a quarterly and yearly basis.
You will lead proposal and quotation processes including active participation in pricing and costing discussions.


Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent. Masters or MBA, a plus
Minimum seven (7) years of experience selling or supporting the sales (ex: senior system engineer, senior customer support, senior product management/marketing) of a mix of the following:
RAN Products
Professional Services (Engineering, Fiber, Installation/Test/Turn-up)
Access Network Technologies (xDSL, PON, FTTH, FTTN, POTS, MEF Services)
Transport Network Technologies (Packet Optical, OTN, Carrier Ethernet, SONET, ATM)
Layer 2 and/or Layer 3 Switching and Routing network design
BSS/OSS
SDN/NFV
Media Services (IPTV, OTT, etc...)
Minimum two (2) years of project execution and delivery experience
Ability to travel 50-70%
Fluent in English

Preferred Qualifications:

Previous sales experience in a vendor/consulting capacity calling on Tier 2 and/or Tier 3 Service Providers (ex. Windstream, Frontier, Level 3, Zayo, etc..)
Diverse Technical and Analytical skills
Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment
