We are looking for a passionate leader combining a strategical approach and hands-on mentality to fill the role as Director Country Operations. We will also consider this position based in our Dallas, TX office. The new Director will travel once a month to the location they are not working from. This requirement is essential to meet the needs of the business. The main objective of the role is to manage the operational US business, including a staff of 30 (six direct reports), with full P&L responsibility. The CVC US organization has been established as separate entity in 2014 and operates as a small start-up organization. Reports functionally to Global Group COO in Austria.

Overall responsibility for regional Sales, Operational Excellence, Delivery and Quality
o Budgeting, business and resource planning
o Lead a small team of direct reports, perform target setting and evaluation, coaching and mentoring
o Optimize organization structures on an ongoing basis
o Ensure compliance with legal provisions and Siemens in-house rules and regulations
o Implement and operate local HR procedures
o Interact with Corporate Shared Services of Siemens USA
o Oversee expatriate assignment topics (notably on work permits, tax)
Build up and foster a network with customers and relevant decision makers at C-level
o Identify and develop new market opportunities for CVC in the USA
o Lead sales function for dedicated customers
o Point of contact with Senior Management of Customers (CxO level, BU heads)
Continue the transformation and change management of our organization. Integrate CVC US into the global matrix structure and foster smart cooperation within the whole CVC Group.
Qualifications:
• At least 10 years of experience in business development, sales skills, leadership role including people management and profit/loss accountability
• BS/BA required, additional degree a plus
• Sound domain know how in Telco & IT solution business, Multimedia (OTT) and Telecommunication (LTE)
• Management of sales processes
• Operational planning and management of teams (staffing, project management, change management)
• Business administration knowledge (including planning and corporation reporting experience)
• Analytical, excel well under pressure, detail oriented
• Ability to work with all stakeholders (internal and external), collaborator
• Team leading experience, Coaching & Mentoring
• Strong written and verbal communications
• Proficient with MS Office Suite
• Ability to travel - domestic and international
