The Director, Business Operations & Program Management is at the core of continued growth of our company. Our group operates like an internal consulting group working on a range of critical projects and issues. Our team is at the forefront of Intuit’s strategic priorities, tackling operational challenges and enabling innovation. You will lead the cross-functional execution of complex strategic projects across a variety of projects. In addition, this particular role will focus on building high performing teams and talent development, process improvement and measuring keys to success. Design, strengthen and implement processes – both new and existing
Work closely with Development Managers, Architects, Product Managers, other functional managers to drive projects and process execution successfully.
Lead teams of program managers and functional/technical specialists who can help us move faster and deliver delight to our customers
Ensure our program leaders grow in their skills and capabilities – through coaching, mentoring, training and delegating with support
Build a succession pipeline – continually raising up leaders who do the same
Lead adoption of world class processes, tools, and technology that yield great outcomes for employees, customers and shareholders
Provide inputs and insights into strategic portfolio management efforts
Support connected services strategy, multi-year roadmaps, and implementation tradeoffs
Strong leadership qualities, including a hands-on, non-bureaucratic leadership style, to include open and frequent communications at all levels of the organization and a genuine sensitivity to the development needs of the organization.

Qualifications

Expert in managing complex programs and projects that extend across the enterprise…and building teams who can do the same.
Has lead a PMO supporting large technology organizations.
Influencing and teaching skills as well as experiences where you have created and improved processes, systems and tools.
Has 10+ years in Program Management, with deep technical and process experience, including in the SaaS based product offering space.
Agile/SCRUM master who can lead and teach transformation of development processes and methods.
Experience leading functional specialists, or COEs, including: project management, business analyst, release planning, budget planning, SDLC (Agile/SCRUM methodology), training, tool standards, etc.
Demonstrates strong leadership and partnering capabilities.
Should have demonstrated experience in supporting large complex product development teams that deliver innovation, technology refresh, and continuous improvement.
Has deep business and financial acumen, and understands technology implications and can ask the right questions and challenge status quo.
Strong executive leadership – excellent communication skills, collaborative, empowers others, understands facilitative leadership and change management (across multiple organizations)
A methodical and intentional builder of high performing teams while creating an energized, innovative and challenging environment.

Experience working across geographical, organizational and functional boundaries
Technical undergraduate degree required and Master’s degree preferred
