Directs, implements and coordinates the operational and tax accounting activities within the Corporate Tax Function. Sets and communicates strategic direction in this area. Develop and establish operational policies, processes and programs for assigned area. Leading and reviewing tax processes, documentation and SOX requirements. Candidates should have prior high technology industry and specific job experience in ASC 740, tax related purchase accounting items, and US tax aspects of international tax.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:
• Provide guidance on ASU 740 global tax provision including FAS 123R, FIN 48 and related tax footnote disclosures.
• Overall responsibility for ensuring the company satisfies all required SEC/FASB/IRS disclosures relating to tax accounting.
• Coordinate with personnel in the Tax, Finance, Treasury and other departments for data collection.
• Leveraging systems and technologies to better improve tax processes.
• Coordinate and interface with Dell/EMC on various income tax matters.
• Maintain working relationship with Dell/EMC on IRS audit.
Position Requirements:
• 10+ years of experience in public accounting and industry in tax
• Specific and recent experience in preparing or reviewing income tax provision calculations and disclosures for multi-national SEC registered companies.
• Must have FAS 109 knowledge
• Industry and Big 4 experience preferred
• Strong accounting and analytical skills

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Developing and mentoring staff
• Experience with sophisticated international tax planning structures.
Education and Required Certification:
• BS degree in Accounting or Finance, with MST a significant plus.
• Certified Public Accountant (C.P.A.).
