The Samsung ID8 team is a cross disciplinary team of makers focused on building products and platforms. We combine design with emerging technologies (machine learning, deep learning, computer vision, etc.) to imagine and invent new experiences for customers. The Samsung ID8 Team is based in San Jose, California, and we are part of the Samsung Strategy and Innovation Center where we are helping to bring new platforms like Samsung ARTIK, a chip-to-cloud IoT platform, to life.

Responsible for delivery and execution of end-to-end lifecycle(s) of complex products spanning multiple feature areas and multi-platform IoT applications by managing schedule, cost, scope and quality of the entire platform
Work closely with ID8 engineering to manage interoperability and scale across hardware, sensors and mobile applications.
Collaborate with design and engineering to create project plans and manage the program to ensure high quality and alignment with stated goals
Lead internal and external cross-functional teams to drive alignment on product requirements, manage issues and track bugs (Agile)
Quickly identify, evaluate, track, mitigate, and report issues and risks
Drive effective teamwork, communication, collaboration and commitment across multiple disparate groups with competing priorities
Implement best practices and proven methodologies for managing end-to-end lifecycles of the platform
Be the daily liaison with internal and external partners throughout the program
Maintain documentation, lead project status presentations and identify, escalate and mitigate project risks
Create, maintain and disseminate project information to stakeholders from team members to executives to non-technical audiences
Qualifications:
8+ years of relevant industry IoT experience
2+ years of experience leading IoT development projects with aggressive schedules and optimal solutions
A proven track record for on-time project delivery of large, cross-functional products, preferably in mobile platforms (Android and/or iOS)
Capability to create a strong business and technical vision and drive a team towards that vision
Exceptional relationship skills including the ability to present complex technical information in a clear and concise manner to a variety of audiences
Advanced experience with MS Project or other project collaboration tools- Office 365, Smart Sheets, etc.
BS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, other related technical discipline or equivalent
