CGI is seeking a Sales Director with proven experience in the Oil & Gas sector to construct, manage, and deliver a sales plan to drive sales bookings and revenue growth and open new business opportunities that are consistent with CGI's growth plans. Achievement of this objective will require a detailed understanding of a potential Oil & Gas clients' business objectives and its stakeholders by creating a corresponding stakeholder map, account plan, and an assessment of the clients' budgetary IT and business services spend. As the Oil & Gas Sales Director, you will have responsibility for working with a team of subject matter experts to bring a suite of CGI solutions to market. The current suite of solutions includes software, IP, technology services and BPO (vertical and horizontal).
The expectation is for the Sales Director to spend significant time at or visiting client offices, especially where key decision makers and budget holders reside. The primary geographies that you will be responsible for include Texas, Oklahoma and Arkansas, although travel to other NA and global locations may be required. The preferred work/home base location for the Oil and Gas Sales Director is Houston, Texas. Required qualifications to be successful in this role
Required Experience:
• Background in (IT) technology with wide understanding of software, IT consulting services, ITO and BPO
• Progressive sales career to date with evidence of significant business wins in the Oil & Gas sector
• Accomplished and skilled negotiator who can successfully identify, negotiate, and close contracts with sound commercial terms
• Demonstrable record of accomplishment with managing complex sales cycles within a global client environment
• Experience of structuring, winning, and managing large value contracts and annuity based sales
The Senior Sales Executive should also have an aptitude for:
• Engaging across the stakeholder spectrum (operational to senior manager to board level)
• Strong interpersonal skills that build rapport quickly by empathizing at all levels in an organization
• High level of written and quantitative skills, with the ability to communicate effectively a sound business case including ROI, cash flow, cap ex, op ex, and creative deal structures
• Committed to building sustainable business growth
• A high degree of resilience and tenacity combined with an optimistic and positive outlook
• High levels of drive and energy oriented to achieving results
• Strong networking skills
