We’re looking for a Director of Finance to oversee our financial and accounting operations. In this role, you would partner with our management team to support sound business decision making by providing insightful financial analysis, meaningful and accurate forecasting, explaining business results, and advising on the financial consequence of strategic decisions. You would play a critical role in Kespry’s financial planning, and lead the accounting team.

Provide status of financial condition of the company by collecting, interpreting and reporting key financial data.
Maintain an accurate, rolling financial plan for the corporation to forecast bookings, revenue, expenses, cash, and headcount.
Oversee "stainless steel" accounting operations.
Oversee accurate order bookings and revenue recognition.
Provide cost accounting insight to manufacturing operations.
Manage the cap table and recording of changes, including stock option agreements
Ensure compliance with federal, state and local legal requirements by researching existing and new legislation, consulting with outside advisors, and filing financial reports.
Manage budget and control expenses.
Protect assets by establishing, monitoring and enforcing internal controls.
Maximize return and limit risk on cash.
Hire, train, develop, and evaluate staff.
About you:
You enjoy and have been successful at managing financial operations in startup environments
You have 5-10 years of experience in financial planning, analysis, budgeting, and forecasting.
You have a Bachelor’s degree, and possibly a CPA.
You have strong familiarity with software accounting (e.g., recurring, renewals, ARR) and hardware accounting (e.g., COGS, inventory).
You have the ability to build solid working relationships throughout all levels of an organization.
You’re an excellent communicator, and can successfully present ideas and influence for positive results.
You have strong analytical skills and critical thinking ability.
You are flexible, organized, and able to handle multiple and competing priorities.
