Qualifications

Accountabilities:
Experience with ISO26262 standards (design and manufacturing point of view)
Preparing documentation and internal processes that align with ISO26262 standards
Work closely with Automotive OEMs and Tier 1s to align safety readiness
Help drive and coordinate Safety Manual development to meet Automotive OEM and Tier 1s expectation
Understand Automotive Regional standards to help align roadmap to meet future needs
Work and collaborate with Design and Back End engineering teams for safety validation
Establish functional safety culture within the company culture by creating documentation, presentation, and processes
Acts as Functional Safety lead
Perform and monitor safety management activities according to relevant standards
Work in collaboration with product teams to ensure functional safety standards are being met throughout product development and manufacturing cycles
Represent Sony in key standards committees like ISO26262 etc…
Required Experience:

Ability to communicate clearly and concisely at all levels of an organization
Experience in FMEA, FTA and risk analysis and assessment
Experience in Automotive safety standards and future requirements
Able to travel domestically and internationally (~40%)
Have demonstrated the ability to grow business and forge strong partnerships

Necessary knowledge:

The ability to work and communicate comfortably with many different personalities and cultures.

Preferred experience:

BSEE or higher preferred. Technical background.
Fluent in English while Japanese language is a bonus
Automotive or related Image Sensor experience
Working relationship with Automotive OEMs and Tier 1s
