Translate business strategy into product strategy through business, product and competitive research; and direct the Product Management team responsible for developing strategies, business cases, and product definitions; and designing, and implementing core site functionality that maximizes revenue, improves customer satisfaction, and enhances the value of the assigned brand or product line.

General Responsibilities:
Direct and control the activities of a Product Marketing team accountable for the development and introduction of new products and features that increase revenue and market share.
Direct analyses of market demand, and review of competitive products.
Oversee product definition, requirements analyses, documentation of specifications, product positioning, and pricing.
Provide input into product design.
May own business relationships between [Brand] and critical vendors, e.g., GDS, or own relationship with one or more functions.
Determine the roadmap and scope of trade-off decisions between programs and initiatives.
Work with the business leaders to define what they need to achieve desired results; and help the business owner find language to translate their vision into strategy.
May act as a proxy for business in decisions or recommendations.
May be responsible for ongoing ownership and improvement of existing site products.
Requirements:
Bachelors Degree in Business Administration, MBA preferred.
Significant and demonstrable industry experience in product management, preferably in B2B e-commerce.
Experience managing a portfolio of products and/or projects and driving projects from inception through delivery.
Experience building and defending financial models.
First-class leadership and influencing skills, including experience managing a Product Marketing team.
Travel or hospitality industry experience, highly valued.
Exceptional grasp of business strategy and technical concepts
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Demonstrable project management and organizational skills.
Strong interpersonal and talent management skills, including the ability to identify and develop product management talent.
Proven ability to lead in a matrix environment.
Ability to quickly learn and understand the capabilities and limitations of technology.
