This position is key to our success in driving brand awareness, customer engagement, traffic, sales, and EBITDA for Central and South American countries plus our Caribbean stores. With over 300 joint ventures in this market, the Director, International Marketing leads the development and execution of the retail marketing strategies.

This includes partnering with local vendors, agencies, and teams with ability to communicate in Spanish and English effectively for optimal results. She/he will develop, communicate, and execute all programs from concept to fruition across all brand touch points including: traditional, digital and social media, added value programs, loyalty programs, cause, promotions, in-store marketing and signage, and more.

Primary Responsibilities:

Develop and execute seasonal International marketing strategies aligned with brand goals and priorities, designed to build EBITDA store traffic, revenues, margins, and optimize brand perception.
Develop a promotional calendar, by country, to create a sense of urgency and present newness, freshness, and fashion of products in the best way to meet the needs of the target shopper.
Direct and coordinate all marketing elements across all internal and external vendors and develop in country relationships to ensure on time execution of localized events and production.
Understand local nuances in customer type, currency, size, ethnicity, fashion sense and be an expert on local promotions, holidays, and wage disbursements.
Build and maintain strong working relationships with cross-functional partners including the planning, distribution, creative and visual merchandising teams, merchants, store operations and suppliers, to ensure marketing is working collaboratively across the brand.
Identify opportunities and provide recommendations for additional marketing programs and strategic partnerships across the region.
Support the Vice President, Marketing in all international strategic meetings.
Provide ongoing reporting to senior management, partners, and cross functional teams.

Desired Skills and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or equivalent field MBA preferred
Minimum 5-7 years of marketing experience with strength in international marketing, Retail and Client marketing, brand building and operations.
Must be fluent in Spanish with experience in Hispanic, Latin America, and Global marketing.
Strong retail background, preferably in the fashion or consumer goods industries.
Ability to productively partner with cross-functional team members to meet objectives
Forward-thinking with a balance of left and right brain thinking (analytical and creative).
Ability to set up efficient and effective processes, and manage and meet deadlines.
