PepsiCo is looking for a creative, results-oriented, Culinary Business Development Director who thrives in a fast-paced, innovative marketing environment, who can lead taking our branded innovation and selling it into our Foodservice customers. This experience will develop and showcase the ability to strategically evaluate business opportunities, develop deep customer understanding to address consumer-based opportunities, and bring innovation to market that positively impact brand equity, business sales and profitability. This individual will be responsible for Leading the Sales of all Culinary Innovation Concepts to top PepsiCo Foodservice Customers, and New Business Opportunities across all Foodservice Channels
Work with PepsiCo Foodservice Customer Teams and Brand teams across all divisions (Frito Lay, Pepsi, Quaker) to lead the Sell-In for Culinary Innovation that builds brand equity and drives profitable growth for AFH Innovation.
Act as a Liason to internal Innovation Teams to support the commercialization of customer-driven, culinary initiatives.
Lead cross-functional partners (Legal, Finance, Supply Chain, etc.) to enable the Go-To-Market Customer execution of Culinary Innovation including contract management with customer.
Manage 2 Direct Reports and a total team of 5 supporting both sales execution, culinary innovation development and Internal/External Showcases
Responsible for the coordination of showcases for all foodservice trade shows that feature culinary innovation (customer specific, NRA, NACS, etc)
Qualifications:
B.A. Required; MBA strongly preferred
10+ years "combined" experience in Marketing Functions such as; Brand, Innovation, Shopper; & Sales Functions (must include at least some experience in both functions)
Strong self starter with ability to operate in a very fast paced ambiguous environment creating the rules of the game
Customer facing experience required, with direct selling experience a plus
Foodservice experience a plus.
Experience in Translating Insights and Data into Strategic direction
Experience in leading innovation development, and developing business rationale
Strong Collaboration and Project Management skills
Excellent Communication/Presentation skills
Strong Self-starter with a Drive for Results
Strong Executive presence to enable positive interaction with Sr. management and Customer Leadership, and be a strong positive advocate for PepsiCo Foodservice
