The Content Marketing Director will report to the Vice President of Marketing - APAC and will partner with the Singapore based APAC team to facilitate creative campaign development with the global Originals creative team (which is based in Beverly Hills). As the only dedicated APAC team member based in the US, this role is critical to ensure the strategy, creative views and local market requirements are represented in global campaign discussions. This role is equal parts regional entertainment marketing expertise and operational execution. A strong digital marketing background is essential to be successful in this role.

Key Responsibilities:
Entertainment Marketing Strategy - you will support the local Marketing leads launching Netflix Originals series, movies, and documentaries in APAC. Provide insight on strategy and ideas on key titles in very early stage.
Regional Marketing planning and strategy - you will work with APAC Marketing leads to develop and shape content strategy. You will also be the regional voice providing feedback to global content creative in US based on the APAC strategy.
Digital creative and strategy - you will help define target audience and strategy using Digital as the primary channel for all Netflix launches in APAC. This includes selection and development of assets for our campaigns for various digital platforms based on APAC team strategy and plan.
Innovation: You will lead and push for digital innovation and best practices across APAC; share back with regional media teams and then in-market teams.
Pan-APAC deals & opportunities (includes pushing partners like Google) and raise opportunities for innovative bespoke creative assets with Originals marketing team.
Localization and adaptation of campaigns - you will oversee the localization and adaptation of global campaign materials (i.e. video, digital assets, etc) to APAC needs.
Work cross functionally with peers in PR, Social Media, Publicity, Business Development to assure focus areas are aligned on strategy and execution.
Qualifications:
Natural team leadership skills with the ability to conceptualize and articulate a marketing strategy on a consistent basis.
Experience and passion for building great marketing programs and product launches preferably in the entertainment marketing space.
An ability to effectively provide input on creative development from a local and regional market perspective.
Experience managing highly motivated direct reports in an environment that embraces individual momentum rather than process driven group thinking.
Solid digital skills and fluency in the digital space with understanding of the various digital buying environments - paid social, reserve buys, native, programmatic, etc.
Strong analytical skills and proficiency in AB testing methodologies.
Strong level of independence and efficiency - great communication and interpersonal skills.
At least 10 years experience in a marketing role.
Experience working with or in APAC region.
Bachelor's degree and advanced degree preferred.
