A Senior Strategy Expert is sought to formulate corporate strategy for open source and ecosystem; lead open source planning for related domains. It is important to keep pace with technology disruptions and business disruptions with a focus on open source industry and its ecosystem; gather new business leads and identify key opportunities and risks; as well as develop these leads into potential collaboration projects and corporate programs. You’ll be required to build influence in OSS communities by interacting with major OSS communities. The ideal candidate will create a sound open source eco-system by creating the open source landscaping tools, cooperating and engaging with analysts and consulting companies or individual senior/executive consultants including industry lead influencer, visionary thought leaders and execution-driven advisors. Other important attributes would be to build and operate an open source team in USA, work with internal open source & eco-system teams across different business units and product lines

A minimum of ten years of successful business experiences related to domains such as IT or OTT;
A minimum of five years of working experiences in the open source domain is preferred;
Experience working effectively across highly-matrixed organizations
Experience in defining and driving programs
Typically 8+ years of work experience in the IT and 3+ year in strategy
Ph.D. or M.S. in an IT is required and MBA is plus
Fluent in English. Knowing Chinese (Mandarin) will be a plus.
