Our Global Talent Acquisition team scours the globe for talent that is aligned to our mission and growth mindset culture. We exhibit endless persistence in the pursuit of identifying, building, and delivering transformative talent to our clients. To complement our efforts, we are looking for a Talent Acquisition Director for the Microsoft Corporate Groups (Human Resources, Corporate Finance and Legal). This leader will inspire and empower a team of Talent Acquisition people managers and recruiters to drive the development and implementation of innovative and impactful recruiting strategies.
Key accountabilities include:
• Developing an annual and 3-year strategy and execution plan for securing critical talent for the business and company
• Lead, mentor and develop the talent acquisition team
• Accountable for worldwide delivery of talent in partnership with key centers of excellence and geo recruiting partners
• Consultative partnership with HR and Business Leaders in identification and prioritization of current and future pivotal/core talent needs, and the deployment of global recruiting plan; close partnership with Finance to forecast headcount movement to support P&L forecasting and budgeting process
• Responsible for establishing and maintaining talent market expertise including comprehensive view of industry trends and competitors; provide expertise in market insights, talent landscape, telling the Microsoft story, and an understanding of talent needs
• Deploying global recruiting operating model and developing the right capabilities and talent to support the company strategy; effective management and use of resources and budget
• Drive thought leadership around how and where to make business investments and trade-offs; enable a culture of agility, efficiency, teamwork and impact
• Part of Talent Acquisition leadership team that sets vision, strategy and goals for Microsoft global recruiting
• Support a diverse and inclusive culture and workforce, and ensure compliance with federal and country laws, regulations and company policies
Qualifications:
• 10+ years of experience in HR/TA, preferably with global responsibility
• 5+ years of experience in HR/TA leadership and people management
• Strong people leadership and capability in building and leading high-performing teams
• Strong communication, partnership, teamwork, and influencing skills are required
• Ability to drive strategy, work with data and analytics, and demonstrated capability in effective and creative recruiting and sourcing strategies
• Solid business and financial acumen, systems thinking and critical problem solving at scale
• Exceptional and effective partnership across broad audiences of internal and external partners, stakeholders, and customers
