Enterprise Partner Group Readiness Alliance Manager Microsoft Redmond

The Sales, Marketing and Services Group Readiness (SMSG-R) team is responsible for driving business impact through the design, development and delivery of readiness in response to field and company strategy business needs. In this role, you will serve as the primary relationship manager and strategic trusted readiness advisor to WW EPG Corporate, WW PS and WW M&O Field Operations leadership.
You will help drive readiness strategy in support of business priorities and scorecard metrics. This role has an opportunity to impact all field sellers by driving targeted and relevant readiness and training solutions, equipping the field with the knowledge and skills they need to effectively transform the way we engage with our customers and partners. In this role, you will partner across WW EPG (e.g. including, but not limited to Sales Excellence, Specialist Sales, and Industry Sales) to develop an integrated readiness strategy that is aligned to their priorities and enables their short- and long-term business objectives. Aligning to the appropriate business rhythms, and through partnership with the key stakeholders, you’ll ensure that readiness strategies and plans are aligned throughout the year in support of the business status against the business objectives. You’ll ensure that solid readiness strategies, plans, and conditions of satisfaction (COS) are established with your stakeholders. Responsibilities Include: Serve as a strategic trusted readiness advisor to WW EPG leadership to help define, develop, and land key readiness initiatives, strategies, plans, and programs. Strategic Planning, Consulting & Relationship Management (80%) • Drive and maintain stakeholder relationships, engagement, and alignment. • Own, support, influence the direct relationships with the WW EPG and WW PS senior leaders and directs. • Act as a trusted readiness resource and advisor to your stakeholders. • Create and influence readiness strategies and plans that cross organizational boundaries to achieve broad business objectives. • Make important business decisions with confidence and influence others. • Understand business priorities and drive readiness alignment to close capability gaps and support business performance. • Create agreed upon Conditions of Satisfaction (COS), including clearly defined shared accountabilities, with your stakeholders. • On a quarterly basis adjust and maintain readiness ROB, strategies, plans, and COS to reflect changing readiness needs based on market dynamics and business needs. Actively participate in stakeholder ROB meetings including QBRs and business planning. Business Management & Execution (20%) Influence the readiness delivery budget decisions for WW EPG and WW PS. Qualifications The ideal candidate has a strong enterprise sales background with related experience in managing and influencing senior executive stakeholder relationships at Corporate is critical. Specific qualifications include: Experience • Deep enterprise sales experience and a clear understanding of factors that motivate and drive results within SMSG. • 8-10+ year’s broad business experience in an international enterprise sales environment. • Proven trusted advisor status in influencing and engaging with senior leaders. Proven cross functional collaborator with corporate and field teams. • Familiarity with Microsoft products, licensing, sales strategies, processes and tools. Education • Required: Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent) • Preferred: Master’s Degree Skills & Knowledge • Excellent communications skills & executive presence. Proven track record as trusted advisor to senior leadership. • Business Acumen, Impact & Influence, Trusted Advisor, Strategic Insight, Cross-boundary Collaboration, Analytical Problem-solving. • Self-driven with a strong sense of accountability, can-do attitude, composure and managing through ambiguity. • Ability to work independently and effectively as part of a matrix team, driving successful outcomes with WW virtual teams.
