Build and manage an engineering productivity team focused on improving testability of the Google’s diverse project areas and platforms.
Provide technical expertise and leadership throughout product life cycles.
Create the next generation developer infrastructure for Google, focusing on developer experience, integration and scalability
Define team strategy and roadmap, and drive adoption of test infrastructure across several product areas
Collaborate with senior leadership on a regular basis
Qualifications
Minimum qualifications:
BA/BS degree in computer science, related field, or equivalent practical experience.
6 years of hands-on technical leadership and people management experience.
Experience in building test automation frameworks and tools.
Programming experience in Java, C++, and/or Python.
Preferred qualifications:
MS or PhD degree in computer science or closely related field.
8 years of relevant industry experience, with 4 years of hands-on technical leadership and people management experience.
Extensive experience in the design, implementation and delivery of sophisticated build/test/release infrastructure.
Strong leader capable of motivating and energizing a team of software engineers.
