Senior Director Consumer Marketing Sanofi Cambridge

Responsible for development and implementation of a comprehensive Consumer Marketing platform in rheumatoid arthritis (RA) that will ultimately drive demand for Sarilumab in a very aggressive market.
JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Create a 1-3 year Consumer plan for the pre-launch, launch and post launch periods.
• Develop and implement a plan for optimal channel distribution for communication with RA patients.
• Work closely with our co-commercialization partner, Regeneron, to ensure alignment of Consumer strategy and tactics across the alliance.
• Develop optimal patient support based on potentially differing RA patient journeys.
• Create and implement an RA patient RM stream.
• Create the optimal plan for SEO/SEM so that we increase the brand’s awareness and relevance to the right audiences.
• Implement health literacy principles to improve overall Consumer communications platform.
• Ensure HCP and Consumer strategies are complimentary.
• Assess and be the commercial lead on patient advocacy efforts in RA


Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; MBA preferred.
• Demonstrated experience in marketing of biologics preferred.
• Must have a minimum 10+ years of progressive marketing experience, including at least 3-5 years in the Consumer space in pharmaceutical marketing.
• Pharmaceutical Sales and/or Sales Management a plus.
• Demonstrated competency in leading a Consumer marketing effort both internally & externally.
• A demonstrated competency in Media planning to ensure proper mix and optimization (media includes digital, mobile and endemic and general awareness print).
• The ability to develop strategy based on market insights, not market research observations.
• Ability to partner and lead cross functional and cross alliance meetings and projects.
• Demonstrated Consumer marketing competencies in the pharmaceutical/biotech areas.
• Demonstrated leadership ability and ability to work with an alliance partner.
• Strong interpersonal & presentation skills required.
• Ability to deal with all levels of the organization.
• Must be willing to travel 15-25% travel
• Must have a results-oriented work ethic, a positive, can-do attitude, and a proven ability to build an effective organization by attracting and retaining high caliber personnel.
