This role will report to the Global Head of Executive and Internal Communications, based in New York. The individual will be responsible for supporting the development and execution of fully integrated internal communications and programs, ensuring that communications align and support the firm’s key business objectives, mission, brand and principles.

• Defines internal communication strategy and plans to support business requirements and deliver desired outcomes
• Works closely with senior management to gain a clear understanding of business objectives and effectively translates them to communication objectives and strategies
• Develops plans and infrastructure to build effective communication capabilities across the organization
• Ensures coordination across all geographies and businesses
Cross functional leadership and representation:
• Coaches and supports business leaders in delivering communications to support strategy and organizational changes
• Leads non-hierarchical work groups to ensure message alignment and integration across the organization
• Coaches and supports junior members of the team
• Plays a central role in best practice sharing and process development across Corporate Communications, with content partners, and across the wider global marketing team
Execution
• Writes or manages the production of a wide range of internal communications focused on business / investment subject matter
• Finds innovative ways to leverage existing communication channels and messages
• Enhances the quality and consistency of communications
• Continuously quantifies results and measures communications effectiveness
• Prioritizes projects and manages expectations of deliverables
Ability to:
• Demonstrate organizational and business savvy, with proven ability to interact and influence at all levels
• Partner successfully with a wide-range of stakeholders and on a wide-range of subject matter
• Manage a high-volume of communication initiatives simultaneously, meet tight deadlines and work under pressure
• Be sensitive to audience needs and writing styles outside of the US
• Be extremely collaborative and comfortable as a team player and coach
• Help create a world-class modern, integrated communications function in a complex environment
Qualifications
• 10-15+ years of Corporate Communications experience
• Solid track record of developing high-impact strategic communications
• Skilled writer, grammarian and excellent editor
• Significant understanding and knowledge of the use of metrics in communications planning and program management
• A creative and compelling writer
• Confident presenter
• Exceptional attention to detail
• Global mindset, ideally with international experience
