The Investment Division Delivery Management group provides program and project management services. This position is a key leadership role within the Investment Division Information Services organization.
Manages team of Project and Program Managers in support of Investment Division Assessments, Projects and Programs. Responsible for coaching, developing and leading staff.
Mentor and assist the Program and Project Managers to ensure client satisfaction and delivery of initiatives to agreed upon scope, schedule and costs, and any other applicable metrics.
Build team competency to meet demand and provide an exceptional level of service.
Ensure the team follows policies and processes.
Provide resource management to meet demand.
Promote collaboration & continuous improvement within the organization.
Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Requirements:
The candidate must possess 7+ years of experience in Financial Services, within an IS or Project Management organization as a Manager, Director, Project Manager or Project Lead. The candidate must have a sound working knowledge of various SDLC (agile, iterative, waterfall) and project management methodologies and must possess excellent organizational, written and verbal communication, presentation, and problem solving skills. The ability to be flexible and adaptable when dealing with change is required. Must be comfortable in dealing with ambiguity.
The candidate must possess 2+ years of experience in managing teams and be skilled in effective team building, collaboration and leadership techniques. The candidate must possess demonstrated financial and leadership skills as well as strong motivational, development and negotiating skills.
The candidate must possess proven ability to exercise flexibility and judgment in assessing business issues and risks in a dynamic environment and the ability to influence individuals across boundaries to achieve objectives.
