The Creative Director will be a leader, problem solver and conceptual thinker. She/he is responsible for guiding the Sam’s Club brand online; translating the merchandising/marketing goals and consumer insights campaign requirements as creative direction to the design team; keeping up-to-date on industry trends, best practices, and the competitive landscape; collaborating with cross-functional partners to guide the creative strategies; understanding the capabilities of available technologies (for example, platform, marketing, mobile, social); recommending new technologies to support digital marketing programs.
Position Description

Cultivates an environment where associates respect and adhere to company standards of integrity and ethics
Develops and implements strategies to attract and maintain a highly skilled and engaged workforce
Develops and leverages internal and external partnerships and networks to maximize the achievement of business goals
Directs Photostudio and Imagery projects
Fosters a test-and-learn environment across functional partners (for example, Site, Marketing, Merchandising)
Oversees and regulates the online brand and brand voice
Oversees user experience (UX) for key marketing initiatives
Provides overall direction
Sets and communicates the design and content creative vision
Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor s degree in Design, Creative Writing, Advertising, Fine Arts, or related field and 7 years leading creative teams OR 9 years experience leading creative teams.
Additional Preferred Qualifications

4 years experience working for or with creative agencies.
4 years experience managing brand initiatives for product launches.
4 years experience managing budgets, including budget forecasting and reporting financials.
