We are seeking a Director, Operations professional in our San Bruno, CA office.
Duties: Apply ecommerce knowledge to prioritize programs based on benefit, cost, strategic importance, risk of inaction and alignment with the financial long range plan. Use different problem-solving methodologies to go from idea inception to a specific plan to make the idea a reality.

Define processes to accelerate execution of programs. Synthesize conclusions and messages to communicate to C-suite executives and influence leadership decisions. Use expertise to go from an idea or email into a solid presentation. Develop financial business cases with deep understanding of the ecommerce specifics such as traffic, conversion, shipping cost (transportation rate cards and splits avoidance opportunities), shipping revenue, fulfillment costs, order vs item analytics, pick-up fulfillment versus home delivery. Develop supply chain systems involved in all the inventory flow, with focus on forecasting and replenishment systems considering ecommerce peak, allocation systems to balance and optimize for shipping expenses at the fulfillment network level, order management systems and fulfillment decision systems to minimize shipping expenses. Implement program management practices.

Minimum Qualifications

Minimum education and experience required: Master’s degree or equivalent in Business Administration or related field and 1 year of program management experience; OR Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Business Administration or related field and 5 years of program management experience.

Skills required: E-commerce experience and experience with multichannel financials. Experience with Supply Chain Systems for retail and e-commerce like OMS and IMS. Experience using Microsoft Project Management software to measure labor and financial resources. Experience launching new technology tools like RFIDs to minimize inventory. Experience using Lean tools like visual workplans, Pareto chart, fishbone analysis. Experience with Confluence, Dashboards. Experience using Waterfall and Agile methodologies. Experience with think-cell software. Employer will accept experience and skills gained prior to the completion of a Bachelor’s degree.
