The ideal candidate will work with the Global Stakeholder Leader and the Media Relations Center of Excellence to develop a strategic vision for Johnson & Johnson Medical Devices social and digital properties that will be brought to life through content-focused campaigns. The ideal candidate should be fueled by a passionate sense of curiosity, uncovering the latest Medical Devices insights and staying on top of digital trends.
The position requires a thorough understanding of digital strategy, social analytics, content creation, paid media and influencer relations. The ideal candidate must have the ability to effectively communicate with a wide-range of internal stakeholders and deliver a POV to shape creative campaigns. This position will provide critical social and digital recommendations and support to the franchises and regions - working across teams, departments and platforms to ensure we’re connected with our customers.
Additional responsibilities include:
Be the subject-matter expert on what people are saying about us and recommend the best course of action
Serve as the key and immediate listening arm to monitor and flag conversations and trends
Identify opportunities and issues in real-time with an analytical eye and make recommendations
Coordinate content, assets and inventory
Support development and execution of agreed communication concepts for campaigns and programs
Find and suggest engagement potential on owned handles and the broader social web in order to foster brand positive effect and achieve business goals
Qualifications
Experience working in high volume Social Media, Marketing, Communications, and/or Public Relations environment, ideally for a large corporation or agency
Knowledge – theory and practice -- of community management, particularly on Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram, tumblr, vine, Periscope and YouTube
Knowledge of key influencers in the healthcare social media space or ability to quickly determine blogger and social reporting influencers and develop strong relationships where appropriate
Detect potential negative or crisis situations and communicate with appropriate stakeholders to mitigate issues
Awareness of employee contributions to social media and ability to shape corporate social media policy in collaboration with others
Proven exceptional judgment, professional maturity and discretion required
A demonstrated history of anticipating issues and taking proactive action to develop and implement an appropriate response plan
Comfortable multi-tasking and able to deliver results under pressure and tight deadlines and on an occasionally non-traditional work schedule
Strong communication skills including writing, editing, proofreading, and presentation
Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
Results oriented with a strong sense of urgency
Vigilant attention to detail
Ability to create and adhere to timelines and schedules
Confidence to share opinions and suggest improvements
