The primary purpose of this role is to be the Process Transformation Lead and business PMO for the Pursuit Phase of the Beverages Application Strategy Project for NAB. The project scope is currently focused on core Financial and Supply Chain accounting and operational systems. NAB is scoping, developing and finalizing its overall finance/supply chain system strategy to be implemented in the next 1-4 years.
Launch/manage exploratory/preparatory work streams related to NAB Beverage Application Strategy. NAB's current system architecture and landscape present significant opportunities for consolidation/harmonization in key areas, specifically Inventory, Fixed Assets, General Accounting, Chart of Accounts (COA), and Procurement.
Manage Pursuit Phase/Discovery business project plan.
Conduct peer company benchmarking on key system strategies (SAP/Oracle)
Support business case refinement by identifying additional and validating current tactical savings and key strategic unlocks.
Key participant in the creation of the end state Capex document.
Lead fit gap analysis in key areas (i.e. Procurement, Fixed Assets)
Play critical role in governance model supporting entire project team (Process, Accounting, Supply Chain etc.)
Partner with BIS Organization to ensure technical specs for environment and reporting are sufficiently planned for future strategy.
Develop insightful analysis on the impact on current transaction processes as they move to the "to be" end state process and recommend action plans with particular emphasis on efficiency opportunities and risk mitigation.
Identify breakthrough process improvements in order to streamline transaction processing, enhance reporting and improve organizational capability for the end state.
Manage internal relationships across Global Procurement, FP&A, Supply Chain Finance, GFSS/NASS, Corporate Control etc. for business case benefits/costs, SME support and future risk mitigation alignment.
Manage external relationships with key partners to ensure their support on key areas of the project (SAP, Oracle and integrators)
Qualifications:
10-15 years of large scale Project Management (ERP implementation leadership or similar scale system a must!)
Accounting and Finance experience (including General Ledger, AP, Fixed Assets etc.)
Undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Finance or Accounting (MS or MBA highly preferred)
Ability to effectively interact with senior management
Excellent analytical skills and ability to determine and execute action plans
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to facilitate effectiveness (with a highlight on cross functional working relationships)
Ability to highlight issues and provide clear communication to broad audience that will assist in driving change
Demonstrated results creating processes and identifying process improvements in a fast paced and changing business environment
Proven effective in a cross-functional and matrixed organization
Results oriented, with ability to prioritize multiple deliverables
Ability to build relationships, manage conflict and embrace change
Ability to work independently while keeping Sr. Management apprised of progress and issues
Previous CPG experience a plus
Strong working knowledge of Excel required
PMP Certification preferred
Strong technical skills/knowledge required (knowledge of latest ERP strategies and BI reporting knowledge critical)
Must be willing and able to travel 10% of the time
