Director Merchandise Strategy Supplier Collaboration Walmart Bentonville

Provides overall direction and creates strategies for Annual Operating Plans (AOPs) by collaborating with key stakeholders.
Provides ongoing strategic support for multiple General Merchandise Managers (GMMs) and leads development of multiple GMM division processes.
Leads the Sam's Club negotiation processes and drives improved business results and supplier relationships.
Directs the execution on project plans.
Provides overall direction by analyzing business objectives and customer needs.
Develops and implements strategies to attract and maintain a highly skilled and engaged workforce.
Cultivates an environment where associates respect and adhere to company standards of integrity and ethics.
Develops and leverages internal and external partnerships and networks to maximize the achievement of business goals

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field and 4 years’ experience in business, merchandising, retail strategy or related field OR 6 years’ experience in business, merchandising, retail strategy, or related field.
3 years’ experience leading a cross-functional team.
Additional Preferred Qualifications

Master's degree in Business Administration or related field.
6 years’ data analysis and interpretation experience.
6 years’ experience in food or consumables merchandising.
5 years’ project management experience.
4 years’ supervisory experience.
