Scope of Responsibilities/Expectations
Continue to build, grow and lead a technical team of internal and outsourced resources.
Deep understanding of the Oracle application and infrastructure architecture. Experience in cloud architecture would be a plus.
Responsible for Oracle ERP Application Development - design, development and implementation of organizational software applications.
Responsible for managing the system modifications and maintenance of the Production applications.
Responsible for Oracle application performance, and the identification and delivery of new and existing application services to meet the business users known and emerging needs.
Responsible for prioritization and task assignment of projects assigned to the Oracle ERP Application Team.
Participates in departmental strategic and budgetary planning processes; prepares and administers Oracle ERP Application Development Team’s operating budget; provides recommendations on policies and goals desired; and implements new/revised programs according to established guidelines.
Review/ update the application strategy for technical applications and contribute to IT strategy.
Define, plan, and direct the execution of a broad range of applications projects, while balancing the competing demands of scope, time, cost, quality, resources, and risk.
Coordinates design and code review sessions with team to enable a culture of continuous improvement.
Create, refine, and enforce a structured process (Application Lifecycle Management) for the design, development, testing, and deployment of software applications.
Assess Oracle technical skills and utilization of IT tools, identify and lead training needs and improvement opportunities.
Specific Knowledge/Skills
Seasoned Technical Leadership experience with Managing larger teams, projects and Budgets (<10M)
Oracle functional and technical experience, specifically with E-Business Suite (EBS), Value Chain Planning (VCP), Primavera P6, Hyperion/EPM, GRCC, OBIEE.  CPQ experience a plus
Deep understanding of Oracle’s current product line; RDBMS, Middleware, Application suite of products.
Deep technical understanding of Oracle’s three tier architecture and all components usage (client - desktop requirements, application/web server tier, database stack)
Past technical experience with: Oracle R12 Installation and upgrades; Oracle RDBMS 11g/12c database creation and management; Oracle R12 development; Oracle Programming Skills (SQL, PL/SQL); Tools to manipulate data; Performance Tuning; Use of Oracle Enterprise Manager and other equivalent tools; Oracle Real Applications Clusters (RAC); Backup, recovery and High Availability configuration; Oracle e-Business System Administration; Patching; Cloning; Oracle Service-Oriented Architecture Usage; Fusion Middleware; Oracle Weblogic Application Server installation and administration; Oracle Web Center administration; Unix, Linux, windows and Scripting; Shell and batch script Programming skills;  Technical Design Documentation skills;  Software Configuration Management tools.

Bachelor's degree and 10+ years' related experience in IT Application Development and Operations
Experience 10+ years of deep functional and technical knowledge in area of Oracle ERP Manufacturing Supply Chain and Finance applications
Experience in IT Operations ITIL-based processes
