Job Description:
The Director of Media Strategy will lead a team of Digital Media Strategists and own the sales process from start (RFP) to finish (post campaign recap). The candidate will be responsible for establishing and maintaining process, the development and training of all team members and providing best-in-class service to our clients The Director of Media Strategy will be required to understand industry trends and how they affect planning, execution and optimization of all Univision digital campaigns.
Primary responsibilities:
● Oversee all aspects of the sales lifecycle including building media plans, campaign implementation, measurement, optimization and issue resolution.
● Grow, train and mentor the Media Strategy team to meet the digital sales team’s expanding needs.
● Collaborate with internal teams (Ad Operations, Yield Management, Outbound Sales Solutions) to help drive efficiencies, improve process and establish best practices.
● Focus on the delivery and completion of all Univision digital campaigns, in order to meet quarterly revenue goals.
● Lead weekly staff meetings with your team to keep them informed and moving forward.
● Act as a liaison between sales and operations to facilitate communication, manage workflow and ensure our client’s needs are met.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
● BA/BS degree from an accredited university.
● Minimum of 6 years of sales planning and client services experience, with demonstrable results on a goal-driven digital publisher team.
● Demonstrates knowledge of working with digital systems: Google DFP/DFA, Freewheel, Yieldex, Operative
● Experience with RFP process, media planning, campaign optimization and month-end billing.
● Demonstrated ability to build and manage high performing and effective teams.
● Excellent working knowledge of campaign management and sales operations process.
● Track record of growing business with agency customers and clients.
● Great communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work within a fast paced team setting.
