Senior Director Product Marketing Amazon Jersey City

Job Description:
Develop the vision, mission, goals, strategies, and tactics for the successful launch of new products in new markets
Deliver highly differentiated and focused product positioning that drives engagement to ensure short and long-term growth with ability to define a global brand and positioning and working with international teams to localize it.
Drive agency relationships globally including creative and media planning.

Identify the prioritization of customer segments through the analysis and studies of the segment
Lead the development and execution of market research efforts to uncover insights, trends and opportunities and transform these findings into actionable insights to inform positioning and/or marketing strategies.
Monitor, understand, and respond to competitive product performance, branding, messaging, and tactics
Develop cohesive and actionable marketing plans to effectively capture market segment share amongst defined targets with a focus on driving customer acquisition strategy and via multiple channels including social, Amazon, search, and partnerships.
Manage and allocate marketing mix and spend for campaigns across multiple channels Develop strong collaborative relationships with internal and external teams, agencies, key stakeholders, and third-party vendor partners
Identify opportunities to drive growth via innovative multi-channel touch points - understand existing customer channel usage and identifies gaps, opportunities and designs necessary action plans

You have an insatiable appetite for understanding your customers and are relentless in finding creative ways to position, message and drive users to solutions that meet their needs, sweating the details and tying them back to the big picture.

You’re a born collaborator equally comfortable talking feature/function with product managers, user experience with designers, copy and positioning with fellow marketers, numbers with acquisition marketing, and strategy with executive

Skills/experience requirements
10+ years of experience in tech product marketing including at least 5 as a senior leader of teams
Bachelor’s degree
Experience launching brand new products/categories
Highly strategic with ownership mentality yet posse entrepreneurial spirit / ability to roll up your sleeves and try different things with minimal direction
Ability to create a compelling positioning/messaging strategy from the grounds up and working with agencies and international team to both “globalize” and “localize” the message
Experience creating and executing of a fully integrated, multi-channel marketing plan
Extensive experience leading cross-functional teams in new product launches
Solid quantitative/analytical and budget management skills

Preferred Qualifications
Experience launching product internationally
Experience with web/mobile analytics programs i.e., Site Catalyst, Google Analytics
MBA / related credentials
