Director Strategy PepsiCo White Plains

Job Description:
This position is a great opportunity to join the PepsiCo Foodservice Strategy team. It is a high-performing team, responsible for building strategies that guide and influence Brand, Innovation, Equipment, Design and Channel priorities to achieve greatest possible growth and penetration.
As part of the Foodservice Strategy team, you will have exposure to PepsiCo Foodservice's senior leadership team. In addition, you will gain exposure to and leverage the latest trends in Food & Beverage, Consumer Packaged Goods, the Foodservice industry and international markets to answer the division's strategic problems to solve.
By working both independently on certain projects, and with the team on others, candidates are expected to bring a creative and analytical skill set to solving strategic issues for the division.

The Strategy Director role requires blending strong internal capabilities with creative, external perspectives, creating an opportunity to champion new initiatives that demonstrate breakthrough thinking. This individual will lead highly visible projects that will have a significant impact on the direction and performance of the division. They will be expected to work both independently on projects as well as play a leadership role in the creation of strategies across multiple projects.

Roles & Responsibilities May Include:

Lead the development of the PEP Foodservice strategy through the lens customer and/or channel, defining the shape of the business and through deep dives identify the size of the opportunity, segmentation, growth potential, profit pools, economics, and key priority intersections.
Lead the Foodservice competitive intelligence process that will yield crucial recommendations to help secure and drive PepsiCo's Foodservice growth.
Conduct analysis to provide advice and a clear recommendation on improved or differentiated distribution, merchandising, and selling strategies for Foodservice (financial valuations, investment scenarios and business model evaluation)
Identify and define other business questions and issues and develop strategic, analytical and financial frameworks to conduct analyses and solve critical business issues in collaboration with key stakeholders.
Demonstrate strong leadership and significant influence management skills with the ability to quickly gain credibility with a broad group of people - team members, cross functional peers and divisional leadership.
Coach and develop analyst level team members.
Support the development and execution of the Strategic Planning processes for the division.
Clearly and concisely communicate the implications of analyses and the execution plan to divisional leaders in verbal and written form.

Education & Experience:
BA required
4+ post-MBA years relevant work experience in strategy consulting strongly preferred
5+ years additional experience in Strategy, Finance or Analytics at a consumer packaged goods company or supporting CPG organizations in management consulting role, and/or in Investment Banking a strong plus
Experience in start-up, business development, or product launch a strong plus.
Experience in global business settings.
