Director Product Marketing Software RMS New York City

Job Description:
RMS is looking for a seasoned Director of Product Marketing to manage the go-to-market strategies for the company’s software offerings portfolio including the core platform. Reporting to the Vice President of Product Marketing and Sales Enablement, the position will be responsible for ensuring the development and consistent execution of messaging, content offerings, product launches, demand generation programs and sales enablement activities that support the adoption of RMS software product lines by customers and partners. This global role will also adapt strategies and messages for different regions as required.

Key Responsibilities

Manage a team of product marketers and to deliver comprehensive go to market plans for the software portfolio under management.
Cross-product messaging - Ensure consistent and differentiated positioning and messaging across product lines that map to personas and influencers along a buying journey.
Product launch – Work with cross-functional teams in product management, development and sales to ensure the alignment and flawless execution of cross-product go-to-market strategies that identify routes to market, content offerings, sales and partner materials and pricing.
Content offerings – Create and shepherd the development of content that progresses prospects along a buying cycle, using different digital formats. Design and measure content strategies that increase conversion rates and drive pipeline across all product lines.
Industry analyst relations – Collaborate with senior executives on briefing industry analysts to advance RMS’s leadership and competitive market position.
Competitive – Monitor changes to the competitive catastrophe risk management landscape at a macro-level, adjusting where required cross-product positioning and messaging.
Sales and partner enablement - Collaborate with sales and partner teams to deliver material that informs and educates on new product capabilities. Identify points of entry for target markets, how different product lines solve buyer pains and business requirements. Respond to the sales force needs as they occur.
Demand generation – Coordinate product launches and marketing programs together with product management, corporate marketing and other stakeholders to grow pipeline and revenue.
Marketing management – Track the overall progress of key product and corporate marketing KPI’s and their impact on demand and revenue.

Requirements

10+ years of enterprise software marketing experience, particularly with platform-based software categories
Deep knowledge of software go to market planning and development, as well as KPI’s and their role in driving demand
Aptitude for technology and the ability to connect technical concepts with customer value
Strategic thinking and ability to define and pursue strategic objectives
Proven ability to meet deadlines without sacrificing work product quality
Experience with SaaS offerings
Very strong written communication skills
Very strong presentation skills
Willing to travel 40%
Excellent people and management skills to interact with staff, colleagues and cross-functional teams, and third parties
Pragmatic Marketing certification is ideal
