Director Managed Account New Product Experience Fidelity Investments Boston

Job Description:
The Director of PAS Product Experience will lead the development, implementation and execution of the client experience for new product development for Fidelity’s Managed Account Offering. The Director will be responsible for the client experience strategy, project execution, marketing and communications (print and online) related to support acquisition, onboarding and retention efforts for new products being developed under the Portfolios Advisory Services umbrella.

The candidate must have strong organizational, leadership and product development and marketing skills. In addition, this position requires a professional and flexible individual who possesses strong influencing proficiency, written and oral communications skills. This position involves leading collaborative interactions with various levels of management and cross functional business partners (including the investment team at Strategic Advisors (SAI), Legal, Distribution, technology, the Fidelity Agency, Integrated Marketing, Product Management and Product Development). This person must be able to create a customer-friendly experience based on client needs, emerging financial and consumer behavior trends and the features and benefits of Fidelity’s managed account offering.



Primary Responsibilities:

The Director will have the following responsibilities:

Work with the VP, Client Experience to develop and communicate a comprehensive strategy for the client experience solutions of a new product based on understanding market, competition, and cross-company trends
Foster teamwork and a spirit of collaboration among team members and business partners while conveying a sense of urgency and responsiveness to meet business needs
Run large and complex initiatives with multiple stakeholders to develop business requirements and then execute deliverables within aggressive timelines and budget
Proactively resolve barriers and issues that inhibit short and long-term goals
Present to all levels of management
Provide client experience expertise to support internal inquiries and escalations
Develop sales and marketing materials that effectively communicate complex ideas in easy to understand, engaging concepts as part of launch deliverables
Must work closely Distribution to ensure messaging and marketing materials align with the sales process utilized by Fidelity’s Financial Consultants.
Analyze consumer trends, market data and product features to create messaging that will resonate with potential clients and drive sales.
Leverage visualization techniques that will bring complex data and concepts to life for prospects and clients

Desired Skills and Experience
Education and Experience:

BS and a minimum of 12 - 15 years of financial services product, marketing and communications experience, or MBA with 10 – 12 years total financial services marketing experience.
Product development and project management experience to execute initiatives (end-to-end)
Managed Account and investment knowledge experience is desired


Skills and Knowledge:

Strong knowledge of key investment concepts and principles
Strong communication, presentation and overall product marketing experience is a must
Be able to influence business partners and enable collaboration across multiple stakeholders
Thrive in a fast paced environment and grasp new concepts quickly
Think strategically — understand customer, business partner needs and prior learnings to inform strategy direction and ongoing decision making

Effective communicator (written and oral); persuasive presenter and sales person
Detail oriented and thorough in thinking through new ideas to their end impact on the client experience
