Director Business Development Siemens Wendell

Job Description:
Siemens PTI is seeking an accomplished Business Development Director, 5+ years experience in portfolio sales of software solutions, professional consulting services and educational services to Utilities, System Operators, Industrials, Developers and Financial institutions within the USA.

Responsibilities will include the development and implementation of business growth strategies for assigned territories, achieving sales targets, creating/maintaining a healthy sales funnel, closing new business, working through Siemens sales channels and recommending new products and services that compliment Siemens PTI market leadership position. Consultative selling is required for success in the role.

The ideal candidate should, at a minimum, possess a Bachelors Degree in Power Systems Engineering or related field, be knowledgeable of power systems simulation software, an accomplished relationship builder with a proven record in concluding complex negotiations. Advanced technical and business degree preferred.

This position reports directly to the PTI Sales Director and will require substantial (50%) domestic and occasional international travel.
