Director Business Management Applied Materials Santa Clara

Job Description:
Provides leadership and direction through managers. Is accountable for the performance and results of a region or related job families. Executes segment/functional business plans and contributes to the development of segment/functional strategy. Decisions are guided by segment/functional strategy and priorities. Directs and controls the activities of a broad functional area.

Key Responsibilities

Manage the order fulfillment process from forecast, manufacturing slot request, booking closure and shipment for large region, strategic customers and/or multiple products. Balance factory requirements with customer forecasts. Recommend solutions to resolve issues with configuration, shipping timing or customer satisfaction
Report on status of commitments, including forecasts, tool issues, customer issues, and trends to BU, Segment, or Customer management
Escalate to Account Team management as needed to resolve booking or revenue issues
Approve customer requested inside lead-time changes
Prepare and execute demand planning reviews; size factory build plan for future customer orders
May be Functional owner for Order Fulfillment Process
Manage employees and budget for large region/strategic customer/ multiple products. . Develop team members.
Manage special projects and key customer initiatives as required. Evaluate and approve business process improvements to increase efficiency

Education
Bachelor's Degree
10 - 15 Years of Experience
