Role & Responsibilities
In this highly visible role as head of the technology and architecture team you will:
● Drive all aspects of software engineering, architecture and delivery of Cisco NetSpace; a platform incorporating Cisco collaboration technologies and aggregating other SaaS offerings.
● Be responsible for all aspects of hiring and creating the culture and processes for an agile & highly productive software engineering team.
● Shape the strategic future of the platform technology and architecture by effectively partnering with Product Management and Strategy & Program teams
Minimum Qualifications
● BS Computer Science and 10+ years of related work experience.
● Software development & leadership in startups as well as large companies
● Agile experience to streamline delivery processes utilizing industry standard Agile methodologies.
● Strong leadership skills and a proven track record in hiring and managing high quality individual contributors and engineering managers.
Desired Skills
● Ideally the candidate has deep technical expertise and can provide architectural guidance for the platform, or can bring in the right architectural expertise.
● A strong work ethic, coupled with excellent written and verbal communications skills.
