The Director, Product Development is responsible for creating and maintaining the digital subscription services product roadmap for the NBC Sports digital properties and delivering innovative solutions across all platforms
Determine product executions for pricing and offer models for subscription products from the NBCSports rights portfolio
Manage and develop customer service operation supporting paid products from across the NBC Sports product set
Lead rapid prototyping of sports products across multiple platforms
Develop new product concepts and document product requirements
Understand the competitive landscape, and prepare competitive analysis and research
Translate business strategies into product concepts, prototypes, and pilots that engage our customers and provide value
Partner with external agencies to develop new products concepts and designs
Work with technology teams to create functional / tech requirement
Oversee the building of new products and participate in the QA and UAT process
Work closely with sales team to deliver on advertising requirements for sponsors
Willingness to work nights and weekends as needed
Qualifications/RequirementsBasic Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree
Minimum Ten (10) years of web or mobile product development and project management experience.
Experience in developing and managing ecommerce platforms, especially as associated with subscription products
Extensive knowledge of best practices associated with customer service communications and standard operating procedures
Strong knowledge of digital video and web development technologies
Proficiency in MS Project / Power Point / Excel / Visio / Jira
