Job Description:
As an experienced Director of Cloud/Data Center Solutions Marketing, you will be responsible for leading the team that is focused on our product and solution marketing activities in the areas of Data Center Switching and Routing; SDN; Cloud Orchestration; Automation; Analytics and Telemetry; and Security. We are seeking an individual with proven leadership skills and a passion for thinking “BIG” and then executing to realize significant impact. The leader will be a mentor to his/her team and demonstrate an ability to position products and solutions in key markets to drive demand. You should possess a deep understanding of emerging data center and cloud technologies, have strong presentation skills, attention to detail to produce best of breed marketing collateral and sales tools and be capable of aligning customer business requirements with comprehensive technology solutions. Able to interface effectively and establish quick credibility and confidence with internal groups at Juniper as well as Channel Partners, and Direct Customers.

Duties/Responsibilities:

This person will be responsible for leading a team and driving our marketing efforts in the areas of Cloud and Data Center. This includes message creation, product positioning and the propagation of the message both externally and internally. The position will be involved in development and delivery of sales training and customer presentations. It will involve working with many different parts of Juniper including product line management, engineering, corporate marketing, sales, technology alliance partners and distribution partners.
Develop Go -To Market strategy; Drive the marketing components of the new product and solution introductions
Define key buyers and influencers and develop messaging appropriate for each
Internal evangelization, cross-organizational communication, and collaboration with all relevant lines of business within Juniper
Develop the competitive comparisons for use in positioning against like offerings from other organizations 

Create collateral. Examples include solutions briefs, case studies, white papers, customer presentations, videos, demos, blogs, wikis and webcasts
Define, manage, track and measure business-level solutions and programs across a range of partner types, geographies, vertical markets, and end users
Develop partner enablement tools; Deliver sales training

Skills/Experience:

12+ years of high tech sales and/or marketing experience
4+ years of experience in a managerial role
Should be very comfortable with Data Center technologies and trends like DC Fabrics, DCI technologies, (MPLS and EVPN), Automation and Orchestration (Python, Puppet, OpenStack), SDN Technologies (VMware NSX, VXLAN, Contrail), Analytics and Telemetry and DC Security.
Solid understanding of Layer2 & Layer 3 Ethernet networking protocols
Experience in product marketing
Experience in technical marketing
Proven product marketing/ Product management experience
Experience working with Enterprise customers, Service Providers, OEMs, Partner/VAR/Distribution, and Managed Service Providers.
Excellent analytical skills to distill market knowledge into actionable plans that produce results
Interviewing and presenting with technical and business credibility to diverse audiences including: Industry Analysts, Press, Sales Organizations, and Partner business leaders.
Must have very strong verbal, writing, and presentation skills as event spokesperson and field/partner trainer.
Performed as a cross-functional lead for world wide product marketing initiatives, engaged with business units, corporate marketing, and field.
Marketplace knowledge of key industry players and competitors as well as their offerings.
