Jasper is look for a unique individual who has a proven track record of managing a Global Sales team selling to the global OEM connected car market. This Sr. Sales Director, Global Connect Car will have a combination of strong sales leadership, a solid network of global OEM’s contacts and the ability to grow and drive the Jasper global connected car footprint. This person will be responsible for growing demand for the Jasper platform among the connected car ecosystem.
The Sr. Sales Director, Global Connected Car will be responsible for:
Drive and manage a global sales pipeline of Automotive OEM’s
Direct, motivate and coach a group of seasoned sales professionals in the connected car space
Forecast, track and report all aspects of every sales opportunity for Jasper in the global automotive space
Collaborate with Automotive OEMs, TSPs and Tied 1 supplier to advance the Jasper value proposition through evangelization and business development
Lead a team to create demand for the Jasper platform within all OEM Connected Car initiatives
Interface with Marketing and Product organizations to socialize initiatives to achieve results
Partner with key ecosystem player to bring innovative services to market
Desired Skills and Experience
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
8 to 10 years’ experience in management role
Exceptional ability to lead a global cross-matrixed sales organization
Knowledge of the mobile operator role with the Connected Car ecosystem
Adept Connected Car industry knowledge and network
Ability to demonstrate high performance of sales operations and management functions
Proven experience with sales process and forecasting
Must have experience taking field requirements from customers
Superb communication skill (written and verbal)
Creative problem-solver
Passionate and enthusiastic self-starter
