Job Description
We are currently seeking an Outpatient Services Director to join our talented and caring staff. The Outpatient Services Director creates, directs and implements the policies and procedures for the outpatient services function. Ensure a high level of quality care and services for patients by coordinating and communicating operational procedures to staff and various departments. Monitors, evaluates, and modifies programs while adhering to company guidelines and regulatory standards. Manages staff within the Outpatient Services department. Responsible for managing department budget, FTEs
and other resources. Meets with local institutions and providers to promote and market OVBHS Outpatient Services. Is a member of the hospital leadership team, reporting directly to the CEO.
Education: Master's degree required. Formal training in CBT & DBT required.
License/Credentials: Must be fully licensed (LCSW, LPC or LMFT) in the state of North Carolina. Additional license as a substance abuse counselor is strongly preferred.
Experience: Minimum of 5 years of clinical experience required. At least 2 years experience in a management role and 2 years in an outpatient setting required.
Knowledge/Skills: Knowledge of health care regulatory, compliance and accreditation requirements and standards. Excellent clinical skills with ability to lead and mentor clinical team. Strong communication skills needed, ability to maintain effective working relationships, demonstrates the ability to organize and delegate as appropriate.
