Job Description
As a Director of Content and Distribution, you will be responsible for developing content strategy. You will play an integral part in developing and executing strategically identified content. As a Director, you will deliver key assets to support brand initiatives, product storytelling, advertising campaigns and ambassador projects. This position will have oversight on content created by regional marketing leaders, by business marketing leaders and by our PR team. As Director, you will collaborate with the marketing team to support the overarching brand vision, brand positioning objectives, and business goals. A successful individual demonstrates artistic and technical skills to create and execute compelling content and the leadership skills to build around. You will serve as a point of contact for content across multiple platforms/channels and formats to drive brand awareness and engagement, company reputation, sales (retention and leads) and positive public interaction. This individual is a content creation and channel optimization expert, understanding editorial and production, curating vs. creating, brand standards, audience segmentation and localization, analytics, and measurement. In this role, you will report directly to the VP of Corporate Communications and be a part of the Corporate Communications team.


Create and execute content strategy from scratch to implement content strategy across webinars, templates, white papers, landing pages, podcasts, VLOGs, infographics etc.
Create messaging, storylines and communication programs that create buzz and drive awareness amongst all stakeholders
Develop and implement a comprehensive content strategy to fuel inbound marketing including email, web, social media, search, lead generation, etc.
Work with designers, writers and social media managers to deliver content strategy
Execute content strategy that supports and extends marketing initiatives, determining which type of content works for the brand when and why
Lead content creation initiatives in support of all company digital channels and related marketing initiatives
Create and operate a centrally coordinated content production function that fulfills the needs across the company and associated processes including a master editorial calendar organized by audience, channel and owner
Manage and bring together writers, editors, and producers;
Establish best practices and standards for content creation and distribution including use of language, messaging, voice and style to ensure all content is on-brand, consistent in terms of style, quality and tone of voice; work with the Global Brand team for consistency;
Optimize all content use, distribution and prioritization across extended Marketing and Communications initiatives and company channels;
Partner with the Digital team to define and ensure ongoing development of modern content publishing infrastructure and integration as well as ensure optimization of content for search and user experience including online, social media, email, and mobile;
Partner with data analytics team to develop and utilize proprietary data including conducting surveys to develop content themes/topics;
Monitor competitor content initiatives and adjust strategy accordingly
