The Director, BHC Regulatory Exam Management role is responsible for the effective preparation and execution of Interagency and BHC regulatory exams and related activities in New York. The incumbent will have primary responsibility for Federal Reserve Board and interagency exams (which may include the FRB, FDIC, OCC, and / or other federal and state agencies).
Specific Responsibilities Include
• Serve as the primary point of contact both for the examiners and internal stakeholders for regulatory exams and related activities
• Manage timely and accurate deliverables to the agencies
• Track progress of all regulatory findings and recommendations
• Partner with IAG for the closure of all regulatory MAPs
• Develop and leverage key relationships with multiple Business Units
• Support leadership in refining the strategy of the Exam Management exam process
• Identify and escalate issues to leadership as appropriate
• Stay abreast of global regulatory and legislative changes pertaining to banking, bank holding companies and credit card practices that may impact American Express

• Knowledge of Basel, Finance and Operational Risk preferred
• Prior regulatory management experience preferred
