Senior Director - Product Marketing XP - Siemens - Malvern

Position Overview
The Senior Director Product Marking, XP is responsible for the marketing/business development of Siemens XP across all segments of the XP Business Unit.
This role is focused on all aspects of driving Siemens market growth through specific initiatives that align with XP’s overall strategic initiatives. This includes the development and execution of all marketing programs which are based on common standards and methodology which align all clinical segments of the XP business through both direct and indirect sales channels.
Using and adapting global product messages or creating new segment messaging as needed. It also includes communication regarding campaigns, programs and pricing to internal audiences. The role captures several other key aspects of marketing management including price positioning for all XP segment solutions and for communicating USA customer product requirements back to the global manufacturing unit to ensure products are developed with the USA customer in mind.

The Senior Director, Product Marketing XP will also own the customer life cycle, develop programs and communicate to deepen the relationship with the customers, create additional sales opportunities for Service and Applications, manage budget for market development programs. Expected goals first year: -Increase XP sales with balanced performance across all key markets demonstrating common methodologies and standards for sustained success across all XP products.

This role reports to the Vice President, XP Business Management for Siemens Healthcare.

Responsibilities

• Strategic development and execution of all marketing programs for XP
• Management of XP clinical product marketing team
• Developing and executing global product messages or creating new segment messaging as needed
• Communication regarding campaigns, programs and pricing to internal audiences
• Oversight of Price positioning for all XP products
• Owns the customer life cycle, develop programs and communicate to deepen the relationship with customers
• Drives the overall development of XP sales channel and partner sales

Required Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience

• BS/BA in related discipline, or advanced degree, where required, or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Typically 5+ years marketing experience in the healthcare business
• Demonstrates significant knowledge of organization’s business practices and issues faced and contributes to problem resolution of those issues
• Objection handling
• Must be able to provide specialized guidance or train support and/or professional staff
• Excellent written, presentation and oral communication skills
• Good understanding of capital equipment sales process
• Strong business acumen, analytical and strategic thinking required
• Capacity to manage cross functional initiatives
• Effectively manages and resolves conflict
• Relentless customer focus
• Must be able to travel 40% or more as required

Preferred Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience

• Understanding of XP segments and market dyanmics
• MBA or Masters in a related field
